Regional Meetings 2015-2016

AOS has three regional branches that act autonomously from the core AOS Board and hold their own meetings that seek to serve specific regions. The three branches represent the Middle West, Southwest, and Western regions of the US.

These regional meetings tend to be smaller and more focused, but may also allow speakers more time to present their papers than in the Annual Meeting and better opportunities for students who are based far away from the Annual Meeting’s location or cannot make it to the Annual Meeting for various reasons.

As with the Annual Meeting, students interested in attending regional conferences must be members of AOS. Travel awards are available at the discretion of each individual branch and are advertised in the registration form for submitting abstracts.

You are, of course, welcome to attend both the Annual Meeting and Regional Meetings!
